Professor Maenghyo Cho

Seoul National University, Seoul, KOREA

Dr.Maenghyo Cho is a professor of school of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Seoul National University, Korea since 1999. He completed his BS and MS degree at Seoul National University and completed his Ph.D at University of Washington, in 1993. His research interest is on multiscale mechanics and design from atomic scale to macro continuum scale.
Continuum finite element method, molecular dynamics, and DFT calculations and scale bridging techniques have been pursued in his last ten years.
Dr. Cho is cuurently a director of National Research Creative Center for "Design of Photo-responsive Deforming Structures".
Dr. Cho has published more than 130 international journal papers. He is an editor of Solid Mechanics and Design of Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology and oeditorial board of int Journal of Applied Mechanics, and of Int J of Internaction and Multiscale Mechanics.

Professor Peng-Sheng Wei
National Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Dr. Peng-Sheng Wei received Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering Department at University of California, Davis, in 1984. He has been a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering of National Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, ROC, since 1989. Dr. Wei has contributed to advancing understanding of and to the applications of electron and laser beam, plasma, and resistance welding through theoretical analyses coupled with verification experiments. Investigations also include studies of their thermal and fluid flow processes, and formations of the defects such as humping, rippling, spiking and porosity. Dr. Wei has published more than 70 journal papers. He is a Fellow of AWS (2007), and a Fellow of ASME (2000). He also received the Outstanding Research Achievement Awards from both the National Science Council (2004), and NSYSU (1991, 2001, 2004), the Outstanding Scholar Research Project Winner Award from National Science Council (2008), Adams Memorial Membership Award from AWS (2008), and Warren F. Savage Memorial Award from AWS (2012). He has been the Xi-Wan Chair Professor of NSYSU since 2009.

Dr. NAVDEEP MALHOTRA is working as Professor and Director Industrial Consultancy Cell, YMCA University of Science & Technology, Faridabad and has more than 15 years of teaching experience. He also worked as faculty in-charge Central Workshop, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra (J&K), India

Dr. Malhotra has obtained his B.E (Production Engineering) Degree, PGdMM, M.P.M from NMU, Jalgaon, PGdPE (Plastics Engineering) from CIPET Mysore, M.E (Industrial Engineering) from Thapar University formerly Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala and Ph.D, from NIT, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. His major field of interest is Plastics Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Processes, Optimization, Composites, Fibre Reinforced Plastics and Engineering & Graphics.

Dr. Malhotra has published around 10 books on Engineering Education. He has also published more than 40 research papers in Conferences / Journals of National and International repute. He has completed more than 15 Industrial Projects. He is life member of various technical societies like SME, ISTE, IE, FRPI, ISAMPE, MRIS etc. He has also organized various National and International Conferences.He is also memeber of Editorial Board of various National / International Journals."
